Here is that whole cycle, run once, uncut — Level 1, The Cafe, recorded frame-by-frame off the live build. Every beat above happens in the next thirty seconds.
coffee19, learn that the faded sign is the year the previous owners opened, swap it, connect. The password is never guessable cold — you reason it out of the room. And a first-run coach walks you through each one — see below.
Your bars update live as you move — strong near the router, dead in the corners, cratered when the microwave runs. Some evidence won't show itself until your signal is strong enough: you can see there's something on that counter, you just can't read it from the doorway. (Shown as bars and a label — "2/5 · Weak" — never colour alone.)
Every clue is a typed token — WORD NUMBER NAME DATE. Nothing arranges itself: you pick which fragments to lace and in what order, and that order is the password you're about to try. The twist: some clues are stale — and a stale clue looks exactly like a good one until you've spent a guess on it. Then the board tells you why it lied, and remembers.
A Wordle × Mastermind hybrid. You type the candidate you assembled — the game never pre-fills it. Letters you've proved correct linger as faint "ghosts" for the next try. Meanwhile the keyboard's autocorrect gremlin capitalises your first letter and betrays you, exactly like your phone. One tap flips Fair Mode. The joke is never a wall.
Some passwords live in a person's head. RAPPORT warms an NPC, PROBE fishes for the clue, PIVOT cools suspicion. Push too hard and they shut down — "You know what? No." — and you have to walk away, let them cool off, and come back better. The barista melts for flattery; Chad from IT just wants to complain about users.
First run through any level, a bouncing pointer and a one-line tip walk you through it — tap this note, talk to that person, open the board, type your answer. It hand-holds every level until you crack it, then that level's coach retires for good. Guidance when it's new; gone once you've got it.
A ☰ button on the map, in any room, in Passwordle and in Sweet-Talk opens a pause/Settings overlay — Reduce Motion, Fair Keyboard, Colour-blind and Text Size (Normal / Large / Huge), all touch-reachable, plus To map and Resume.
